With its incredibly foreign and dreamy landscape, Iceland has always been on the top of our bucket list for dream travel destinations. While we unfortunately aren’t going to be able to make a trip to Iceland in 2015, it’s never to early to start dreaming right? Well, we found this awesome new tool called TripCreator that allowed us to plan our perfect itinerary so we can just book it and go when we’re ready to visit the land of Fire and Ice.
Creating a custom travel itinerary to Iceland is super simple with TripCreator. I’ve always dreamed of road-tripping Iceland’s ring-road so that was the trip I created. Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve always found the actual trip planning process fun, but also quite tedious. This is especially true when I am visiting a completely new place and I have no idea where to start.
This is where TripCreator really excelled. All I had to do was pick some dates, the number of travelers in my party, and then pick a trip style along with the budget that I was looking for. Then I just hit the Create a Trip button and wait to see what would happen.
From there it was only a few seconds then BOOM! In less than 30 seconds I had a full itinerary for my Iceland ring road road trip (say that 10 times fast). I had a full day by day itinerary with hotel bookings, things to see, and where to drive each day.
The most impressive part to me though, was the cool map that outlined my whole trip with all the stops. I normally build these by hand for each trip and it takes me forever!
The trip planner was really cool since it gave me a bunch of inspiration for different attractions to check out. I never knew about the Hvítserkur Sea Stack, which would be a definitely must see for me so the recommendations were wonderful.
Once I reviewed the itinerary from TripCreator I can pick and choose what I wanted to do from the list of available options. Then once I was done planning the trip, I saved it so I could come back to it and book it when I was ready. If you are planning a trip to Iceland, I definitely recommend you check out TripCreator before you go.
note: while TripCreator did provide promotional consideration for this post, all opinions are my own
