What Foods Came from Georgia?
Alright, so let’s get straight down to business. Georgia produces the most peaches than any other state in America, but it’s also producing the most pecans, vidalia onions and peanuts in America, too! The eastern part of Georgia actually has a small town called Vidalia, where there are fields of vidalia onions growing.
Coca-Cola is the soft drink that was invented here in 1886, and is now home to the Coca-Cola museum. Be sure to check out the museum when you visit, as there is a tasting room, and factory which allows you to see the entire bottling process of this soft drink.

This state is perfect for fun, family vacations since it has so many exciting and thrilling activities to take part in. The Georgia Aquarium is home to so many species of fish and sea life. Take a trip to Lookout Mountain for spectacular views and bring your binoculars to spot any wildlife, both high and low. There’s also Six Flags Amusement Park for the crazy, ride venturers looking for a little thrill.
Stone Mountain Park is a huge rock mountain with a monolith right in its center. It was etched in the rocks side and is a confederate memorial carving honoring Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee. There’s a trail and a scenic Skyride cable car that takes you to the summit.

Georgia has 114 total colleges with a combined total of 337,068 full-time students. Phew, that’s a lot for one state! The University of Georgia and Georgia Tech are the two schools that come to mind when you think of education here. Even though all 114 schools share their love in the same state, they are big rivals for one another in both academics and sports teams.
