This week’s #FriFotos is #Gardens. I am not a huge fan of big flowery gardens so this one is kinda tough for me. I know stereotypically girls are all about flowers, but I have never been huge on flowers (unless they are wild flowers). Here are some my best garden shots for this week’s #FriFotos.
This is a zen garden at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida. I absolutely love this place. It’s so peaceful and pretty. They also have an amazing restaurant.
We spent some time in India this year and visited several amazing historical sites. At every single one of these historical sites the grounds are maintained 100% by hand to reduce pollution. Here is a photo of several women cutting the lawn in the gardens by hand. We witnessed this everywhere we went and were astounded by the amount of time and effort that must go into this process.
This is my mom’s garden in her backyard. The view is from the gazebo on the roof of our home. My mother grows lots of fruits and veggies and composts her organic garbage back here. Her garden has coconuts, avocados, mangoes, limes and so much more. She also has a huge herb garden back here.
This is a flower garden in front of the Parliament building in Victoria, BC. I am sure that this picture exists in my arsenal because I was looking for cute critters in the flowers. It is pretty though. :)
This is a waterfall in a Chinese Tea Garden in San Antonio, Texas. There were giant koi fish swimming around in the water. It was a really neat place to take a romantic stroll.
I started with one of these guys and I’m ending with one. :D This lil guy was hanging out in the gardens at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Like I stated before, the only reason you will ever find me admiring a garden is to find the cute critters that choose to hide or feed in them!

Though gardens don’t scream bravado of a man, I do find myself often in gardens of different locations. I just like how quiet they are, and I am obsessed with roses (hence my tattoos). Cool Frifotos this week, bummed I missed it!
