Road trippers are always looking for the next great road trip challenge. While touring the country we came to one of our favorite routes along the Pacific Coast – Highway 101. This route has everything you could ask for in a classic road trip. It includes winding roads, elevation changes, coastal cliffs, and beaches. We followed Scenic Highway 101 for two days, from Washington to Oregon to California.

Coop’s Place New Orleans – Review

While walking the streets of New Orleans you’re bound to work up quite the appetite. While visiting any city we always ask the locals where to eat, and while shopping in the French Quarter we were sent to Coop’s Place New Orleans. Coop’s is restaurant and pub (with just a touch of “dive bar” flavor), but also has a few video poker machines, so it is 21 and over only. For us, it was a nice place to have lunch in a kid free zone even though the ubiquitous frat boys(and sorority sisters) were present. CC’s Community Coffee House Review – New Orleans, LA

When visiting New Orleans the first place to come to mind is usually the “Original” coffee house, we found a relatively new local chain that really serves up a great brew. Next time you’re in NOLA check out CC’s Community Coffee House. We enjoyed it so much we decided to write a review about it!

We caught this Picture of a Blue Bird in mid-July in the Kings Canyon Park in California. I have no idea what kind of bird he/she is so if you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. The colors on this critter are amazing and I can’t believe the bird was still long enough to get a photo.
