Custer State Park in South Dakota is one of my favorite places to visit. The park is rife with wildlife (teehee, that rhymes)and beautiful landscapes. We saw many different animals while driving through the park, but we had to stop and get out of our car to interact with these crazy lil’ guys :) The chipmunks of Custer State Park are quite a spunky bunch of characters!

Fun Canadian Road Signs
During our last road trip, I realized that when it comes to road signs, Canadians know what they are doing! We, as Americans can take a lesson from our Northern friends. Not only are Canadian road signs more entertaining and aesthetically pleasing, they are also more accurate and detailed.

Why I Love Alaska – The Last Frontier
When we first decided that we were going to make a cross-country trip to tour Alaska, we had one specific goal, drive the Dalton Highway! This was our second trip to The Last Frontier, but it was the first time we had spent any real time in the state. Our previous visit was when we traveled on an Alaskan cruise quite a few years earlier, but being there for only a few hours a day did the state no justice. I knew we’d have a great time visiting, but what I didn’t know was that I would end up saying I love Alaska!
