Bushkill Falls, also known as the “Niagara of Pennsylvania” is a hidden gem nestled in the Poconos Mountians near the Delaware Water gap. It features several waterfalls along a series of hiking trails and a nature center. The drive to Bushkill takes you through varied scenery and quite a few winding roads, which is an added bonus for the driving enthusiast. One of our favorite parts though is the fact that the park is pet-friendly so you can bring your dog with you while you visit! It makes an excellent day trip for anyone visiting Pennsylvania or Eastern New Jersey and has something to offer every age group.

Photographs of Baby Grey Wolf in Canada
We came across this baby grey wolf while traveling through the Canadian countryside. He was so cute that I made Kenin make a sharp u-turn so I could get some photographs. He was quite the model and stood there in all his glory so I could get these shots. :) Zoe barked at him a few times and he never barked back. He was extremely well-behaved! I wanted to keep him but Kenin said I would have to trade one of ours for him since they wouldn’t all fit in the car. From here on out, Zoe and Punkin are on a diet so we can fit more pets in the car :D
Reindeer at the North Pole
We came across this herd of Reindeer (aka Caribou) while driving towards the North Pole in Canada’s Yukon :-) Looks like we know where Santa gets his team from!

We travel with our dogs whenever we can. Zoe and Punkin have seen more of the United States than most humans I know. Sometimes when we venture out on the town, we have to leave them in the hotel. We make it so comfortable for them, that sometimes they don’t even seem to notice that we are gone. Here are a few pet friendly travel tips on how to keep your dogs happy and quiet when leaving them in hotels. All it takes is a few minutes to prepare your pet friendly hotel room and they should be ready to go!
Blowing Rocks Preserve, Jupiter FL
When you think of Florida beaches, you think of soft sand and striped cabanas. We were looking for a less populated, natural Florida beach where sand is not dredged and trucked in. Blowing Rocks Preserve turned out to be exactly what we were in search of. Check out these amazing photos!
