We visited Keystone, CO while on our 35-day cross-country road trip in July. We were fortunate enough to have a friend recommend the pet-friendly Inn at Keystone. We booked our stay for 2 nights and ended up adding an extra night because we loved it so much. One might think that a ski resort would only be fun when there is snow on the ground, but this is definitely not the case. We had tons of fun, and the resort was a perfect fit for us and our two dogs.

Photo Gallery : Giant Iguanas
Some people might not find these guys cute, but Kenin and I both had iguanas growing up. I wouldn’t suggest trying to wrangle one of these Giant Iguana for a pet though! :)
Days 34 &35 Going Home is Never Easy Pensacola to Hollywood
OUR WEDDING VOWS
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.”

Road Trip Diary Days 29 & 30 San Antonio to New Orleans
Leaving San Antonio was a bit heart-breaking for us. After spending 4 days with Mike, Blythe and Prince Leon, it was very hard to leave. I was pretty shocked at how quickly my nephew became the center of our long weekend and was sad to leave him. It really helps that we will see him again in a few days, but more on that later. The upside to the day was the fact that by this evening we’d be enjoying food and drink in New Orleans.
Road Trip from Las Vegas to El Paso Diary Day 24
750 miles is a daunting amount to cover in a day, but alas, we have to get to El Paso tonight. This means we have to cover over 1250 miles in two days. Getting a very early start, we pack up and say goodbye as we move along on our road trip from Las Vegas to El Paso. Continue reading
