When Kenin and I traveled to Washington D.C., we thought it would be a bit of a task to find an upscale pet friendly hotel, but this was not the case. We found that D.C. is extremely pet friendly with several quality choices. The hotel we chose was the Hotel Palomar by Kimpton. Cute Squirrel Picture
This is a cute squirrel picture. He was chillin’ at the resort with me in Keystone, CO having a snack. Current whereabouts of said squirrel are unknown. I stalked him for 15 minutes then he took off and left me heartbroken. We had a brief but intense love!

Grilled Salmon Recipe – Easy Cooking on the Roadside
This is the easiest Grilled Salmon Recipe of all time. Kenin and I stopped in Arizona and made this delicious dish with 5 basic ingredients while on a road trip. We make it a point to travel as light as possible so all our seasonings normally come from condiments we can pick up at restaurants and gas stations. It was fantastic!

Cars …. Past, Present, and Future
We love road tripping. Weekend road trips was pretty much how Kenin and I started traveling before we could afford to do it by plane or ship. This is a collections of our cars: past, present and future !
We have had a few cars in the 10+ years that we have been together and we believe, truly believe in buying a car to drive it. We’ve had such good experience with the brand that we’ve owned a VW Golf, GTI, Beetle and an Audi A5!
Cars are not just a mode of transportation for us. Our vehicles have personality. They take us places, yes they do, but they are also a mode of fun and relaxation. Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant Review- Seattle, WA
Kenin took me to this amazing restaurant in Seattle, WA called Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant. It is not exactly in the heart of downtown so we did have to walk a little to get there, but it is still within comfortable walking distance of both Pike’s Place Market and The Space Needle.
The atmosphere was perfect for a date night after a long day of playing in the city. The softly lit restaurant was quiet and intimate even though there were several larger parties dining around us. Continue reading
