Drinking beer is a pretty simple process. You open a bottle, pour it into your mouth, and swallow right? Wrong! As we learned on our visit to the Budweiser Beer School in Jacksonville, FL, there’s a lot more involved in drinking your beer in order to get the most out of it. Even craft beer nerds like us had something to learn.

The Ramblin’ Baltimore Travel Guide & Trip Planner
Baltimore is known for a lot of things, perhaps most famously though, for it’s warm and welcoming namesake, Charm City. Well I am happy to report that it lives up to it’s name when we had the opportunity to spend a few weeks exploring this fine city and it’s surrounding areas. With it’s beautiful inner harbor, diverse neighborhoods, and variety of attractions it’s no wonder Baltimore is Maryland’s top tourism destination. Check out our Baltimore Travel Guide and Trip Planner for lots of “Rambler certified” activities and attractions.
A Day at the Spa at Hotel Hershey
What’s better than a day at the spa!?! Well, a day at the spa plus chocolate of course! Kenin and I recently visited the Spa at Hotel Hershey in Pennsylvania. I am sure you have heard of Hershey right? That’s the place where they make chocolates :) lots and lots of chocolates! I dreamed many nights about being rubbed down in cocoa and breathing in all the yummy smells this spa had to offer. I found myself thinking about it weeks before we even made it to Pennsylvania. I made it abundantly clear to my husband that we were not leaving the state until I made a visit to the spa. Kenin’s answer to me: “If you spend a day at the spa, you need company.” He can be pretty opportunistic at times, but hey, I didn’t care as long as it meant that I got to go.
Hiking the Watkins Glen Gorge with Ranger Outfitters
To me there is something mystical about taking a simple walk in the woods. No matter where you are in the world, the moment you step out on the trail, you are immediately transported to a different universe. All your “civilized” problems seem to melt away and are instead replaced with an appreciation for the simple beauty of the world around you. It’s a great way to clear the mind and it’s also cathartic for the soul. While in the Finger Lakes Region of NY, we found out that the Watkins Glen Gorge was the perfect place to get out and unwind.
