Seeing the Grand Canyon was something that was on my travel bucket list for the majority of my life until I finally had the chance to see it back in 2012. Unlike a lot of other landmarks and destinations though I find the Grand Canyon is one of those sites that you can return to and always have a different experience. When we were given the chance to take a Grand Canyon Railway Tour the last time we were in Sedona, AZ , Lauren and I hopped at the chance. I mean come on how often do you get to see the Grand Canyon and ride a train in the same day??

Tucked away in the small town of Drumheller, AB is a gem of a restaurant called Bernie and the Boys. If you are craving a satisfying meal and an amazing milkshake to wash it down with then this is the place to go. The restaurant has even been featured on Food Network as a “You Gotta Eat Here” spot.

That is, until I found out about Heritage Park in Calgary.
Village Brewery – It Takes A Village to Brew Great Beer
We love beer! We will never pass up the opportunity to try a new craft beer. During our Calgary visit we were pleasantly surprised at the craft beer movement in this fabulous town. Tucked away in the industrial neighborhood of Calgary is the Village Brewery. You know us, we had to take a tour and a taste (well, a few tastes :) ). In addition to a Brewery tour, we were invited to the Village Brewery Hump Day Social. The event changed not just my perception of craft beer, but of business in general! This one day solidified my love for the city of Calgary and the people who live here.
