Bushkill Falls, also known as the “Niagara of Pennsylvania” is a hidden gem nestled in the Poconos Mountians near the Delaware Water gap. It features several waterfalls along a series of hiking trails and a nature center. The drive to Bushkill takes you through varied scenery and quite a few winding roads, which is an added bonus for the driving enthusiast. One of our favorite parts though is the fact that the park is pet-friendly so you can bring your dog with you while you visit! It makes an excellent day trip for anyone visiting Pennsylvania or Eastern New Jersey and has something to offer every age group.

Visiting the Pacific Northwest | Vancouver, BC | Portland, OR | Road Trip Update
After spending weeks in the remote portions of Canada and Alaska we both welcomed a few days of city life. Don’t get me wrong, we both love nature and all, but we hadn’t been to a major city in weeks! We decided to solve this road trip dilema by visiting the Pacific Northwest. We spent a few days in Vancouver, BC before we left Canada and made our way to Portland, OR. We spent a total of 4-nights in the area and had a wonderful time exploring two new cities and experiencing the city life.
Photographs of Baby Grey Wolf in Canada
We came across this baby grey wolf while traveling through the Canadian countryside. He was so cute that I made Kenin make a sharp u-turn so I could get some photographs. He was quite the model and stood there in all his glory so I could get these shots. :) Zoe barked at him a few times and he never barked back. He was extremely well-behaved! I wanted to keep him but Kenin said I would have to trade one of ours for him since they wouldn’t all fit in the car. From here on out, Zoe and Punkin are on a diet so we can fit more pets in the car :D
Road Trip Route Tok, AK to Vancouver, BC along the Cassiar & Trans-Canada Highway
After touring the majority of Alaska, it was time for us to take our road trip South and back to the lower 48 states. We didn’t want to take the Alaskan Highway all the way back trough the Eastern Side of the Rockies and repeat our trip North so we decided to take the Cassiar Highway along the western Rockies and through BC instead. It was an amazing 1863 mile trip over a period 5 days that took us from Tok, Alaksa through the entirety of British Columbia and ending in beautiful Vancouver BC.
Road Trip Update: Alaska’s Interior Route from Fairbanks to Anchorage to Valdez
Our latest update on our Florida to Alaska road trip takes us through the remainder of Alaska’s Interior on a route going from Fairbanks to Anchorage and the coastal city of Valdez. We weren’t originally planning on spending so much time in Alaska but the combination of it’s immense size, beauty, exotic location, and so many things to do, made us stay for as long as we could. We covered 1000 miles over 6 days and had such an amazing time that we’ve added Alaska to one of the places we would consider living!
