Wine at noon!?! Yes, please! :) Kenin and I spent a morning walking around downtown Albuquerque, NM enjoying the sights and doing a little shopping. We then went looking for a brewery to visit when we came across a flyer for the St. Clair Winery and Bistro. It was surprising to find a winery in New Mexico, but we were intrigued. We decided to make a quick change of plans and visit the winery before hitting the Marble Brewery and we were glad we did. Here’s our review of the St. Clair Winery and Bistro.

Road Trip Albuquerque | San Antonio | New Orleans | Miami – Update
We had some fun gambling our way through Nevada and seeing the beautiful sights in Arizona and New Mexico, but it was time for that bitter sweet moment on every road trip, heading home! Of course home for us was still another 2163 miles away :-) We took a rambling route across New Mexico, through Roswell, then to San Antonio to see family for the Turkey Consumption Fest we Americans call Thanksgiving. Road Trip Route 66 | The Grand Canyon | Vegas to Flagstaff to Albuquerque
We spent the last couple of weeks on our road trip in quite a few large cities so we decided it was time for the pendulum to swing back in the other direction and get back in touch with mother nature. What better way to do that than to visit one of her grandest creations? Over the course of 4 days we were able to visit the Grand Canyon plus two other national parks, get our “kicks” on Route 66, spend some time in one of the Midwest’s oldest cities, and visit more local breweries! How you ask? By taking a road trip routed through Las Vegas, NV to Flagstaff, AZ to Albuquerque, NM of course!

This means we have to cover over 1250 miles in two days. Getting a very early start, we pack up and say goodbye as we move along on our road trip from Las Vegas to El Paso. Continue reading
