For as long as I’ve known Lauren she has been obsessed with the sea. Most likely stemming from growing up on a small island, she’s always been interested in any kind of water related activity. While she’s an expert swimmer, enjoys boating, and is an expert at beach napping; there has been one activity that has always eluded her: Sailing. I decided to finally help her cross that item off her lifelong bucket list while we were in Baltimore for her birthday and enlisted the help of the team over at the Annapolis Sailing School.

Washington DC – Touring The Nation’s Capital In Photos
Touring the nation’s capital can be quite stressful. Washington DC has to much to see and the traffic can be horrendous. Trying to get from landmark to landmark can be difficult for even the most seasoned of travelers. On our last visit to Washington DC we opted to take the stress out of our city tour. We signed up for an Urban Adventures eCruiser tour of DC to take in all the sites in the National Mall.

When Kenin and I traveled to Washington D.C., we thought it would be a bit of a task to find an upscale pet friendly hotel, but this was not the case. We found that D.C. is extremely pet friendly with several quality choices. The hotel we chose was the Hotel Palomar by Kimpton.
