Canoeing Down The Delaware – The Dog Days are Just Beginning

The Poconos Mountains are a fabulous place to go for a romantic weekend. Do you know what also makes for a great romantic weekend? Weimaraners! Okay so maybe not, but Zoe insisted on joining us for our weekend getaway to the Poconos and as always she also insisted that she firmly plant her fuzzy butt right in the middle of everything. While on our fabulous romantic getaway to the Poconos, Kenin and I decided to take an intimate canoe trip down the gorgeous Delaware River. Luckily for Zoe, the folks at Kittatinny Canoes love dogs just as much as we do so they didn’t mind her tagging along on our romantic river ride.

We recently had the pleasure of spending some time in the beautiful little city of Sedona Arizona. While there we found a wonderful community filled with warm hearted and friendly locals that lived up to the great reputation that Sedona has. What was surprising to us though was how pet friendly Sedona ended up being. Normally towns that are focused on tourism don’t have lots of pet friendly options, but Sedona was quite the opposite. Rootin’ Tootin’ Fun at the Tweetsie Railroad in North Carolina

Tucked into a mountainside between the small towns of Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina is a great little hidden gem called Tweetsie Railroad. Stepping through its entry gates immediately takes you back to a time of gold prospectors, steam engines, and horse-drawn carriages. It’s a great day of fun with something to do for every age group, and as an added bonus Tweetsie Railroad is dog friendly too!

Anne’s Beach – A Dog Friendly Free For All in Florida Keys

Us Ramblers recently made our way down to the Florida Keys. We were visiting one of Zoe’s favorite friend’s, Savannah. What do you do when you are visiting friends in the Keys? You go to the beach of course :) ! Anne’s Beach is a quaint dog-friendly beach in the Florida Keys. It made for the perfect day for the girls to get their paws wet and get some playtime in the soft sand.
