When most people think of Florida images of art deco and scantily clad women run through their head. The truth though, is that this isn’t really representative of Florida at all. There’s a whole other part of Florida that’s still made up of pristine coastline and natural beauty. Fort George Island off the coast of Jacksonville is one of those places.

Inspire Moore winery in Naples, NY made us feel right at home. We even let Zoe come along for the ride.
Nothing says summer like a trip to the beach – am I right? And Bethany Beach is one of the best resort towns on the Eastern Shore for families to travel to for some relaxation. But who wants to pop out of town without the family pup?
It can be a struggle for us travelers who are also pet lovers plagued by a lack of quality places that allow Fido (or Barkdale… or Chew Barca… or Miss Sugarpants… we’re not judging names here!) to join in the fun. However, the newly remodeled Meris Gardens in Bethany Beach solves the problem altogether, with top notch digs that are dog friendly.
