Tucked away in a corner of Northern Miami Dade County is one of Miami’s best kept secrets. No, it’s not a private beach for the ultra rich or some ultra exclusive bar where musicians and starlets hang out. It’s a place open and accessible to average Joe’s like you and me (even though you might find some notable Hollywood movie stars there). I’m talking about the recently opened Miami Automobile Museum featuring the Dezer Collection. If you even think you might have a passion for cars or are looking for something cool to do in the Miami area, you have to check out this car museum.

It’s A Charmed Life Indeed, at the Best Tattoo Shop in Baltimore
I open the door of Charmed Life and quietly walk into the room. I hear the faint “ZZzZzzzzZZZz” and it chills me to my bones. The hairs raise up on the back of my neck and I start getting that butterfly feeling deep in my belly. The clean antiseptic smell enters my nostrils and my heart starts thumping. Do you know what time it is boys and girls??? It’s time for some epic new ink! :D
Coral Castle – Inspired by Love and Loss
Love is one of the most powerful forces that can have an affect on us humans. We’ve seen timeless examples of the extremes that love can drive us to, from the works of Shakespeare to the majesty of the Taj Mahal, there are countless world renowned examples of love-driven art. There are some tributes to love though that come from love that has been lost or worse, unrequited. The Coral Castle in Homestead, Fl is just one of those places. Tucked away in a small town, far away from the hubbub of Miami is a castle built of solid stone dedicated to one man’s love for a woman that chose to spurn him. What makes this place incredible is that every stone was cut by hand and laid over the course of 20 years by only one man: Edward Leedskalnin.
A Ski and Splash Adventure in Beautiful Miami with Tropical Sailing
When people think of Miami, the first things that usually comes to mind are glamorous shopping trips, ballin’ rap stars, and the infamous South Beach Club scene. The reality is that there’s a lot more to this beautiful city than fast cars and starving supermodels. Miami is actually a great spot if you love water sports like jet skiing, snorkeling, and kayaking. Interestingly, even though Lauren and I are both Miami natives, and love boating, neither of us have ever ridden on a jet ski. So when we caught wind of the Ski and Splash adventure tour from Tropical Sailing Miami, where we could actually accomplish all three activities in the same day, we knew we had to check it out!
Aloft Hotels: Hip, Cool, and Dog Friendly!
With so many hotel chains all over the US, it’s rare that you’ll ever hear me say that there’s room for another company to build and launch a whole new brand. Shockingly though, Starwood Hotels did just that with their newest brand, aloft hotels. What’s even more surprising is that they actually succeeded to build a chain of hotels that gives you something more than just a place to stay, but a sense of place. Combine that with the fact that the whole chain is dog friendly with no crazy pet fees or deposits, and it’s no wonder we felt like we just had to visit and review an aloft hotel and share it with the world.
