I am Zoe Bassart, the supermodel for TheConstantRambler. I need to look my best when traveling around the world. I need to smell nice so that everyone will stop and pet me. I like being pet. It’s the reason I travel! My humans make sure to keep me clean and pretty when on the road. They use Pet Head products to keep me at my best when I don’t have time to stop at my local salon. If you find yourself taking a road trip from Reno to Las Vegas Nevada, there’s a neat roadside attraction in the small Nevada town of Hawthorne that’s worth a look. Located on HWY 95 about 2 hours south of Reno, Hawthorne, NV is home to the Hawthorne Army Depot and a great little roadside pitstop, The Hawthorne Ordnance Museum. Staffed by veterans and other local volunteers, the museum showcases decades of historical munitions, in addition to other pieces of military history. It’s a great stop off for anyone with a taste for military or weapons history.
We first heard of Salvador Molly’s on the Food Network when they were being featured for their crazy hot habanero fritters, which are affectionately dubbed the “Great Balls of Fire”. When we found ourselves in the Portland area we thought we’d give them a review and also put ourselves to the test! The best part? We got it all on video :-)
While on our way to the Grand Canyon, we made a planned stop in the small junction town of Williams, Arizona where State Rt 64 & Hwy 180 intersect. Flintstones Bedrock City was mentioned to us by a very good friend and we valued his recommendation (and I really loved the cartoon growing up). Kenin and I set off very early in the morning to get there and check out the “Bedrock City”. We were not disappointed and just had to share it with the world!
We visited the 2013 Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Fl to take a look at all the exciting and innovative dog friendly travel products that are coming to the market this year! There are so many new products that will make travel with your dogs easier and more enjoyable. We met quite a few vendors and were impressed with their creative problem solving to ensure that traveling with your pets across town or across country is safer than ever. On top of that there were lots of really cool products that you and your fur babies can enjoy at home! Here are some of our favorites!
