We first heard of Salvador Molly’s on the Food Network when they were being featured for their crazy hot habanero fritters, which are affectionately dubbed the “Great Balls of Fire”. When we found ourselves in the Portland area we thought we’d give them a review and also put ourselves to the test! The best part? We got it all on video :-)

A Review of Chimayo Mexican Grill in Dillon Colorado
When Lauren and I travel we make it a point to always look for places that are off the beaten path. This holds especially true when we are looking for somewhere to eat. We normally look for a locally owned non-chain restaurant to ensure we are giving back to the community. While visiting Keystone, we found Chimayo Mexican Grill, and felt like it was good enough to review and share with the world.

Review Villain’s Tavern LA Art District
Note from Kenin: When we went to LA to visit my brother, one of the great places we checked out was Villain’s Tavern in the LA Arts District. Since Brant is both a resident of LA and an aficionado of bars and cocktails plus writes the whyihateeverything blog we opted to have him guest post a review.
Review Villain’s Tavern LA Art District
For all the sleek sophistication of the new mixology movement, let’s face it, half of the colorful cocktails out there can taste a bit trashy. The lesson here is that just because you can mix a couple liquors with juices and herbs doesn’t always mean you should. Villain’s Tavern, however, knows exactly how to concoct anachronistic drinks without turning the stomach, serving a variety of flavorful combinations that are enjoyable to imbibe and interesting on the palette at the same time.
