When I found out that this weeks #FriFotos was about #Cars I almost had a conniption! What topic is better for a self-described car lover who spends all of his time driving back and forth across America? I couldn’t ask for a better topic. As you can imagine we have tons of car photos, so I went thorough our vast library and selected some of my favorites to share. I tried to pick out some of my favorite oddities and modified cars to spice things up a bit.
I figured it would be appropriate to start off with some of my favorite classic cars that are on display. You might even call a couple of these prehistoric :-)
I’m a sucker for anything that goes fast, and I love a good ole’ hot rod or classic car. It’s amazing what you’ll find parked if you keep your eyes pealed while on a road trip.
I would hate for you to think that my love of cars is only restricted to small cars and trucks. For some reason there is a small cross-section of society that really enjoys tricking out school buses!
Then of course there is my love for all things Volkswagen!
Adults aren’t the only ones that get to play with cars. There are some really cool kiddie cars out there too!
Sometimes companies like to get into the mix with some fun corporate sponsored cars too.
Sometimes, there are some really neat parts of cars out there too. Here are some photos of old car bodies and things we’ve found along the way.
And saving the best for last here are some of my favorite oddities and conversions. I couldn’t dream of trying to road trip in any of these!
No post about cars would be complete without at least one gratuitous car chase. I know it’s technically a video and not a photo, but there isn’t exactly a #FriVideos category is there?

Gotta’ love vintage cars! Car lover to car lover, I owned a 1948 Ford Tudor Super Deluxe V8 once upon a time in California. Unfortunately transporting it to Washington DC was hellacious, and I had to sell it. Awesome pictures!
Ryan, We have yet to purchase a classic car, but when we do it will be a VW bus. That has been my dream vehicle for years. Once we can afford the maintenance, it will be mine. Loving your Haiti photos :)
