When I first heard that this weeks #FriFotos was about #Symbols I was a little stumped. The first thing that ran through my mind were ancient runes and hieroglyphics. While those certainly are symbols, we don’t have many pics of those in our photo library. Then it hit me, our world is full of modern symbols that we interact with every day. We just call them something different now. We use terms like brands or logos to describe many of the modern-day symbols that affect our lives. Here are some of the symbols that define us at theconstantrambler.
Since I am a car lover and road tripper at heart I thought it would be appropriate to share some of my favorite car related symbols first.
I’m not all cars all the time though :-) Here are some of the other symbols and logos that we seem to center our lives around.
Sometimes certain buildings or locations are so iconic that they unintentionally become definitive symbols of the cities they reside in. Here are some of my favorite landmarks from some of our favorite cities and places.
Occasionally some symbols become so powerful and meaningful to us we want to keep them in our lives forever. Whether these items describe us, symbolize our passions, or our love, tattoos are one of the ways we celebrate and share some of the most powerful symbols in our lives.
At the moment this is my all time favorite symbol! The Constant Rambler is only seven months old and it took us some time and lots of soul searching to figure out what we wanted our blog to represent. We finally have a logo for our blog that represents what we’re all about.

Great photos! I love your interpretation of landmarks and tattoos standing as modern symbols, too.
