It’s thought that Dallas has more than 70,000 hotel rooms which mean there’s likely to be some great deals out there. The cheapest rooms we found are not in the fanciest hotels in dallas but you do get good value for money. This is especially the case if you think about how much you’d have to pay if you stayed in a hotel in Los Angeles or New York. 

Be sure to do a bit of shopping around as you’ll find a few bargains. If you do wish to stay in Dallas at the cheapest time of the year you might want to opt for the spring, fall, or winter. This is because hotel rates are usually a lot lower than they are in the summer months. 

How to Get Around 

While you might be tempted to travel everywhere by taxi, it can cost you an arm and a leg. Why not use the Trinity Railway Express as a means of getting to where you need to be and it’s also relatively cheap. You might also wish to use the DART which is the local bus service and this is quite reliable and cheap. 

The locals tend to hop on a bus or a train which means if they can rely on these forms of transport, you can too. Work out when the cheapest time to travel around Dallas is, it might not always be during rush hour so be sure to check those prices out. 

Where to Eat 

It goes without saying that you’ll want to spend some time in a restaurant or two, however, this isn’t a cheap way to eat. If you would like to save money, go to one of the many local grocery stores and buy your food there. Food in this part of the world tends to be cheaper than it is in other parts of the country. 

Remember that if you do decide to eat out you will have to account for tips and sales tax in the bill. Buy and make your own meals and save some cash while you sample some of the local cuisines.
