After a long day bike riding through Keystone, CO it’s time for a reward! What better way to relax than having a brew with my baby!
While travelling we always like to look for a great local beer on tap. It’s a great way to enjoy a fresh microbrew, and usually there is a friendly bartender that can give you a great recommendation if you’re not sure which one to choose. In this case,I had a 90 Shilling Ale which is brewed by Odell Brewing Co in Fort Collins, CO. Being a Scottish Ale, it was light and refreshing but slightly richer than average ale with a 5.30% ABV.
Kenin had a Breckenridge Vanilla Porter. This is one of his favorites and to have one while in Colorado was a bonus for him. The porter is brewed by Breckenridge Brewery. It was a creamy rich beer with typical chocolate and roasted nut flavoring of a great porter with surprise vanilla notes. This American Porter has a 4.70% ABV.
