Are you always looking for new restaurants in Miami? We recently chose to review The Knife restaurant and had ourselves a wonderful, casual, yet romantic meal. The Knife is an Argentine “parilla” style steakhouse with several locations in South Florida. We chose to visit the Hallandale location. The visit was so pleasant for us, it’s earned a spot on our “Where to eat in Miami” list.

Road Trip Diary Days 18- 21 What to do in LA
When we left our hotel in Fresno we knew we were headed for a good time at our next destination. We were going to see my brother, Brant, who’s lived in LA for quite some time, and has been known to party in 4 Continents. What we didn’t know is that by the end of the 4 days we would have had drinks in a warehouse turned into a night club, a meal at a swanky beach-front steakhouse, nursed 2 hangovers, and attend a Space Party. We managed to do all this while also getting in quality time with the family and some time to ourselves. Of course none of these things were planned in advance, that’s just how it goes with us ramblers. We got in the car that morning listening to more Silversun Pickups to keep us company (they always remind Lauren of Brant) and drove to LA .

Grilled Salmon Recipe – Easy Cooking on the Roadside

We make it a point to travel as light as possible so all our seasonings normally come from condiments we can pick up at restaurants and gas stations. It was fantastic!

Coop’s Place New Orleans – Review
While walking the streets of New Orleans you’re bound to work up quite the appetite. While visiting any city we always ask the locals where to eat, and while shopping in the French Quarter we were sent to Coop’s Place New Orleans. Coop’s is restaurant and pub (with just a touch of “dive bar” flavor), but also has a few video poker machines, so it is 21 and over only. For us, it was a nice place to have lunch in a kid free zone even though the ubiquitous frat boys(and sorority sisters) were present. Continue reading below to see why Coop’s made our list of where to eat in NOLA.
