For thousands of years the horizon has always been an enigma to humanity. Always present, but never reachable. Much like the fabled end of the rainbow, one knows it exists, but accepts that he will never be able to reach out and touch it. Because of this, it has taken on many different meanings to different people. Whether it represents a new beginning in life, the eternity of the soul, the vastness of our tiny world, or the end of life, it’s a deeply meaningful and impacting image. Sailors peered off into the horizon for hopes of new land, pioneers saw mountains and envisioned new lives beyond their great masses, and in the olden days it was symbolic of the threshold of this world and the next. With that in mind, here are some of our favorite horizons for this weeks #FriFotos.

#FriFotos- A Tribute to all things West
The word West can conjure up many images and feelings. In America the word West is usually used in the context of an adventure as in “venturing out to the Wild West” or “heading out West” to find oneself. It goes back to the early days of our country when the West was a wild and untamed land that needed to be conquered by cowboys and ranchers. Even today, there are many portions of Americas west that appeal to this same sense of unrestricted freedom and wide-openness. We’ve had the opportunity to spend some time in the West, and wanted to share it with you as part of this weeks #FriFotos.
#FriFotos – Blooms
It’s April, and where I’m from that means Spring is here and in full bloom! It’s time for Mother Earth to shake off the remnants of frigid winter and celebrate life once again. What better way to share this wonderful phenomenon than with a tribute to Spring’s beautiful blossoms in this weeks #FriFotos- Blooms!
#FriFotos -The #Symbols that define our world
When I first heard that this weeks #FriFotos was about #Symbols I was a little stumped. The first thing that ran through my mind were ancient runes and hieroglyphics. While those certainly are symbols, we don’t have many pics of those in our photo library. Then it hit me, our world is full of modern symbols that we interact with every day. We just call them something different now. We use terms like brands or logos to describe many of the modern-day symbols that affect our lives. Here are some of the symbols that define us at theconstantrambler.
#FriFotos – #Car Photos from Road Trips Across America
When I found out that this weeks #FriFotos was about #Cars I almost had a conniption! What topic is better for a self-described car lover who spends all of his time driving back and forth across America? I couldn’t ask for a better topic. As you can imagine we have tons of car photos, so I went thorough our vast library and selected some of my favorites to share. I tried to pick out some of my favorite oddities and modified cars to spice things up a bit.
