Pet Friendly Hotel Kimpton Palomar Review – Washington D.C.
When Kenin and I traveled to Washington D.C., we thought it would be a bit of a task to find an upscale pet friendly hotel, but this was not the case. We found that D.C. is extremely pet friendly with several quality choices. The hotel we chose was the Hotel Palomar by Kimpton. Coop’s Place New Orleans – Review
While walking the streets of New Orleans you’re bound to work up quite the appetite. While visiting any city we always ask the locals where to eat, and while shopping in the French Quarter we were sent to Coop’s Place New Orleans. Coop’s is restaurant and pub (with just a touch of “dive bar” flavor), but also has a few video poker machines, so it is 21 and over only. For us, it was a nice place to have lunch in a kid free zone even though the ubiquitous frat boys(and sorority sisters) were present. CC’s Community Coffee House Review – New Orleans, LA

Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant Review- Seattle, WA
Kenin took me to this amazing restaurant in Seattle, WA called Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant. It is not exactly in the heart of downtown so we did have to walk a little to get there, but it is still within comfortable walking distance of both Pike’s Place Market and The Space Needle.
The atmosphere was perfect for a date night after a long day of playing in the city. The softly lit restaurant was quiet and intimate even though there were several larger parties dining around us. Continue reading
