While driving through rural Idaho on our 35-Day trip we stumbled onto what turned out to be one of my favorite National Parks. The terrain is so different than what we are used to in Florida. We felt like we were in outer space when we landed in Craters of the Moon National Monument. It’s one of the most exotic things I’ve ever seen on vacation, and a definite must see.

FL to AK Road Trip Update: Richmond, KY to Chicago, IL to Rapid City, SD
Over the last 5 days we’ve covered another 2000 miles going from Richmond, KY to Rapid City, SD. Our trip has taken us through 7 different states as we’ve crossed through the Midwest. We’ve seen some awesome sights, met some wonderful new friends, and enjoyed all the lush colors of Fall.

Food Truck Monday – Hollywood Arts Park at Young Circle, FL
If you’re looking for a fun way to feed the whole family, and bring along your pets, look no further than Food Truck Monday at Hollywood’s Arts Park at Young Circle. The Miami Food Truck schedule brings them every Monday night from 5:30 – 9:30 PM. An army of Miami’s famous food trucks descend on Hollywood to satisfy even the most discerning foodies’ cravings. There are usually 20-30 trucks in one location that offer everything from Italian staples to exotic Korean fusion delights. After visiting several times over the past few months we decided to share this great event and tell you about some of our favorite trucks!
Visiting Seattle Washington – Road Trip Diary Day 12
I have been looking forward to this day for quite some time. Seattle here I come! Kenin and I have always wanted to visit. We stopped here briefly once a few years ago on our way to Alaska for a cruise. We weren’t even in the city long enough to see the Space Needle. Ever since then, I have longed for visiting Seattle. We drove into Seattle and immediately, both fell in love with the city. The place has a certain buzz that gets into your blood. I can see what inspired the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. I wanted to start my day at Pike’s Place Market and Kenin was more than happy to oblige. Continue reading
