This week’s #Fri #Fotos theme is #Urban. We decided to share photos of cities we love. When I think of urban, I think of cities, and when I think of cities, I think of hipsters. Here is a very good representation of what can happen to a normal person when they spend too many hours in a car. :)
Here are a few cities that we have seen in our travels. We enjoy visiting urban areas and getting a taste of city life. After all, Kenin and I are born and raised city folk. This is Miami, FL which also happens to be right outside of our backdoor. This is where we get to play at night.
- Downtown Miami at night
Boston, MA is one of our go to cities when we need to get away. We always stay in downtown and walk everywhere. Boston has always had a place in my heart. It is one of my all-time favorite cities. The Union Oyster House is one of my favorite places to visit in the city.
New York City, NY is the ultimate urban area. This is the first place that comes to mind when any American thinks city. We visited The Big Apple on several occasions and only saw a small portion of it. We need to return and explore for a much longer period of time.
Chicago was an urban area that we visited briefly. We were only in the city for a few hours. From what we experienced, we need to make another trip. There is so much life in this city and it is gorgeous at night. I would love to be able to spend a week or two exploring the city when we return.
Vancouver, BC is another urban area that is a must-see. We saw some of the best architecture in this city. We were there at night and I adore the way they light the town up.
Here we have some graffiti, or as more recently known, Urban Art :) Takes a great deal of talent to do something like this!
Chicago has been my favorite city to visit within the US. Definitely go back :D
Chicago was pretty cool! We enjoyed it but honestly hardly saw it. Maybe we can go back together :-)
